Richard Glass, President

Richard Glass has negotiated and completed the sale of approximately $500 million of independent businesses in the past 20 years.
He served for seven years as a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen in the Tampa Bay area and has comprehensive knowledge of external lending sources, business acquisitions and divestitures, and in the implementation of controls and systems for increased operating profits.
His expertise as a CPA and owning his own firm prior to SRA has earned him the ability to develop strategic financial business plans for new ventures, rapid growth, turnaround, mergers, acquisitions and leveraged buyouts. It also gives him insight into the proper presentation of financial information and cash flow projections.
His expert knowledge and firm relationships in the financial world proved invaluable for aggressive, effective negotiation.
Richard Glass holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and is also a Certified Public Accountant and member of AICPA and FICPA.
Steven Nagel, Managing Director

Steven Nagel's career as a business broker and consultant has included a full range of brokerage services including M&A representation; financing and buyout strategies; public and private placement of debt; and the initiating, negotiating, structuring and closing of over $200 million in acquisitions, mergers and divestitures.
Mr. Nagel brings to SRA his extensive experience, working with owners to profitably grow their businesses, create value and recognize selling opportunities.
Steven Nagel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA as well as a Florida Real Estate Brokers License.
Tim Pontius, Managing Director

Tim is a true veteran of the homecare industry. A licensed registered Respiratory Therapist since 1980, and has worked in the home medical services field since 1981. His experience includes building a small HME startup into a highly successful company focusing on respiratory care, oxygen, rehab products and orthopedics. He also partnered in the startup of a home infusion company and grew it into an equally successful entity, running both companies as a sole owner before selling in 2005.
A longtime advocate for the homecare industry, he has been an active member of state & national associations. He is a Past President of the Ohio Association of Medical Equipment Services (OAMES), held multiple positions with the former NAMES association, and a past Chairman of the Board at the American Association for Homecare (AAH ). Mr. Pontius also served and lead multiple committees including Regulatory and Federal Legislative Policy. He served as the Industry's representative on the Professional and Technical Advisory Committee for JCAHO, Chairs the Region B DMERC Advisory Council and also is a long -time member of both the Ohio Society for Respiratory Care and the American Association for Respiratory Care.
His work experience includes acquisitions of a Partner relationship and a hospital–based business as well as working closely with SRA on the sale of his two previous companies. As such, he brings a true “I know how you feel” perspective to the consulting aspects of buying and selling a business.
Tim attended the Ohio State University and received his degree in Respiratory Care from the University of Toledo.
Steve Ouzts, Managing Director

Steve Ouzts has been with SRA since 1997 and is in charge of SRA’s business analysis function. Since joining SRA, Mr. Ouzts has been integral in developing tools used to evaluate companies, analyze revenue streams, identify strengths & weaknesses and prepare Confidential Business Reviews for client companies.
His knowledge of the HME industry & billing software allows him to get the most, and most accurate information on client companies, with a focus on allowing business owners to continue to run their business, with minimal disruption.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Ouzts spent 8 years as the controller for two multi-million dollar distribution companies after having also worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Ouzts holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Auburn University and an MBA from University of South Florida.
Rob Larsen, Associate

Rob Larsen joined SRA in 2005 and is responsible for identifying, contacting and building relationships with HME companies nationwide. Rob brings to SRA an extensive background in the Health Care Industry. He spent 14 years with 2 separate billion-dollar medical corporations providing direct distribution in both the physician and hospital environments. He also spent 6 years consulting health, government, and corporate sectors in areas of sales, productivity, and profitability.
Rob brings to SRA a "turn-key" solutions approach for our clients with his diverse experience working directly with owners of independent companies. He also possesses the perspective of working within the corporate structure of both private and publicly traded companies.
Mr. Larsen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida, with concentrations in Statistics and Business Management.
